The Three Graces dance again
The Three Graces dance again. At the Malzfabrik in Berlin.
After ten years above the rooftops of Berlin, the Three Graces have now found a new place where they can pirouette again. Just in time for the sixth “Malzwiese”, the three stainless steel girls have moved into their new home on the grounds of the Malzfabrik in Berlin-Schöneberg. Here they can once again do what they love best: spin in the wind and dance, dance, dance. And the location could not be more perfect for a sculpture that combines the forces of creativity and nature. Built in 1914 as a malthouse for the Schultheiss brewery, the Malzfabrik is now a place for visionaries and creatives with a focus on art, culture and sustainability.
The “Malzwiese”, the summer festival at the Malzfabrik, is entering its sixth round this year and everyone is cordially invited to spend a summer’s day on the Malzfabrik meadow and grounds on June 4, 2016. There will once again be a colorful program with lectures, workshops, children’s fun, readings, open-air stages, a bazaar and much more. This year’s theme is awareness in all its facets: Hearing, seeing, feeling, smelling and tasting – and all of this at the new little beach paradise. So this year the motto is: The meadow is splashing!
And the Three Graces can finally send out their message again: don’t stop dancing!
